I finally learned how to properly use the Procreate app. I'm so stoked that I was able to make something even more beautiful than the other pieces I've done on my Ipad. Hands down the best investment I've ever made. Woo!
Not sure why, but I've been in such a rut lately. Nothing seemed to look right. Once I stopped trying to make everything look pretty, proper and perfect...it all started to fall into place! I've been sketching non-stop trying to get something to work and I'm finally proud of something lately.
Here's something Ive been thinking about doing for the past few weeks. I've been told that I should think about tattooing but thats something thats not an option right now. Im going to focus on improving my art and maybe I could dabble into ink in the future. This piece was done with a mechanical pencil, Micron Pens and watercolor pencils.
I've been thinking about doing a female portrait with a wolf so here are some sketches for practice.
This gal took forever to do! First I sized up a 16x16in canvas with 6 sheets of paper and did a heavy sketch. Then I transferred it to canvas via tracing paper. Once I inked the canvas with Sharpie & Micron pens, I filled in with acrylic paint and paint flow.
When life seems dark, you find comfort in the light you come across.
I did this on my Ipad Pro using Procreate.
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."
